Crazyben's vintage collection revolves around Apple and NeXT hardware and operating systems, showcasing some of the most iconic systems from both companies.
He owns an Apple II running Apple DOS, a IIgs with GS/OS, a Macintosh 128K with System 1, an SE/30 running System 7, a Quadra 700 and Quadra 950 both on Mac OS 7.6, a Power Mac 9600 with Mac OS 9, and a Power G4 Cube running Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger. He also has four distinct iMac G3 models, each running variations of Mac OS 9 and early OS X.
His NeXT collection is complete, featuring a TurboCube and a NeXTstation Turbo Color, both with matching monitors and running NeXTSTEP 3.3.
Each piece in Crazyben's collection reflects a pivotal moment in computing history, blending nostalgia with technological innovation.
"Crazyben" is a dedicated collector of vintage Apple and NeXT computers, a passion ignited by acquiring a Macintosh Plus 1MB.
With a focus on period-correct hardware, he meticulously restores these iconic machines to their original condition, preserving their historical significance. The thrill of finding rare components, original software, and authentic peripherals at flea markets, online auctions, or retro computing communities fuels this hobby.
Each restored system celebrates the innovative legacy of early personal computing, ensuring these technological treasures endure for future generations.
We were proud to play a behind-the-scenes role in a recent Feastables x Clix commercial—starring MrBeast and Clix—by sourcing and supporting four matching first-generation Apple iMacs from the late 1990s.
The production called for retro-corporate vibes and era-authentic gear. Thanks to our collaboration with a talented local vintage computer collector, the creative team had exactly what they needed to bring their vision to life—on time and on set.
